Dr. Nisa Aslam
Dr. Nisa Aslam (General Medical Council registration number 7044459) qualified in Medicine (MBBS) at University College London in 2009. She has since worked as an NHS GP in multiple regions with different patient populations in London and the South East.
In every community Dr. Nisa has served, a significant proportion of her patients have been overweight or obese. Many have tried to lose weight through better diet and exercise but have been unable to. Studies show that obseity is increasingly seen as the catalyst for other health issues, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and some cancers.
In 2022, Dr Nisa attained accreditation in The Medical Management of Overweight and Obesity through the Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education and is a certified participant in the National Medical Weight Loss Programme.
Dr Nisa founded White Giraffe Clinic to provide a doctor-led medical programme combining lifestyle support, clinical monitoring, and evidence-based treatment options where appropriate. Her philosophy is simple: Compassion, science, and personalised care are the foundation of successful long-term weight management.
All treatments are prescribed solely by a GMC-registered GP after full medical assessment, ensuring safety and suitability for each patient.
I truly believe that by giving people the support to help shed unhealthy kilos, we can today make a difference in a way that was not previously possible. - Dr. Nisa Aslam
In addition to her NHS GP work, Dr. Nisa is also the Chief Medical Officer of an innovative health assessment company, a keynote speaker/consultant for a number of wellbeing organisations and is a regular guest/commentator on BBC radio and in the press on a variety of health topics.
